My Summer Car – Error: Steam client doesn’t exists – how to fix it?

If you have installed the mod and Mod Loader shows you that Error: Steam client doesn’t exist, it usually means that:

• You don’t own the original game
• You launched My Summer Car outside of Steam (e.g. from a shortcut, but you don’t have Steam running)
• Mod Loader failed to catch your Steam account (it sometimes happens)

What can I do to prevent such information from appearing again?

• If you don’t have the game you purchased – just buy it
• If you have purchased the game on Steam – run My Summer Car always through the Steam client, and if such information still appears, verify the integrity of the game files on Steam.
